# import-from-sqlite

## Description

<mark style="color:purple;">`import-from-sqlite`</mark> *adaptor imports data from a SQLite file.*

## Inputs

**`sqlite file`**\
Type: `file`\
Required: Yes\
The SQLite file from which the data will be imported.

**`query`**\
Type: `text`\
Required: Yes\
The SQL query reading from the database (e.g., `SELECT * from table WHERE ...`).

## Outputs

**`data`**\
Type: `datatable`\
A datatable containing the imported data.

## Examples

### Example 1: Default behaviour.

#### Inputs:

`sqlite file:` example.sqlite

`query:`

```
SELECT 1 AS field1, 'a' AS field2
UNION
SELECT 2 AS field1, 'b' AS field2
UNION
SELECT 3 AS field1, 'c' AS field2
```

#### Outputs:

`data`:

| field1 | field2 |
| ------ | ------ |
| 1      | a      |
| 2      | b      |
| 3      | c      |
